Hello everyone,

I know I need to shame on myself for not being here for a while. Here is my excuse, first there was a mad Christmas time and New Year and then right after that I became a dad and now after 3 weeks of looking at my lovely daughter Anabella I’m ready to start working here again I will share the images of Anabella later on, but now I would like to share the final post of my family photo session with Bella and mum Freda.

I do get asked a lot to do the studio photo sessions and yes sometimes weather is not that great to do it outdoors, but I would always recommend to try it outside as it relaxes you and kids and you can do a lot more things then indoors Same case was with Bella and Freda, we first were thinking about indoors session, but then decided to go for outdoors and only in case of rainy day, nip inside for the studio session.

The day came and as always I scouted around and we went for the river walk idea. We started out journey from Modern Art Gallery and walked all the way to the Stockbridge along the river. Bella was really enjoying all this experience and we managed to cover a lot of poses and locations. Once I got home, I was so excited to see the images and truly amazed how well this turned out. Weather was juts perfect and we finished the session with nice cake and tea at the local bakery. What could be better….cake…mmm….cup of tea

Hello Everyone,

Yes I know it is been a wee while since I shared another wedding story with you. We had a Christmas and enormous amount of photography work to do, but I have plenty work to share with you and show some new bits as well. This was my 2011 last wedding and it was a challenging one as well. The wedding was at one the most prestigious hotels in Edinburgh, Balmoral hotel. Few things, which were different from previous weddings, was that Hilary and Iain wasn’t my typical young crowd couple who would do a ton of silly things and jump in the air and do all sorts of crazy stuff I had to keep it elegant and simple here. As always I did my research and we managed to capture new fantastic images at the Balmoral. I have done quiet few weddings there, but every time I strive to do new locations and set ups

Wedding itself was very emotional as Hilary got a bit hard time with her family, mum passed away and I felt so sorry for her. Her dad really wanted to walk her down the isle, even that it was really difficult for him, he did a fantastic and managed very well. Their children were very supportive and helped me a lot during the wedding, it was fantastic bunch of peeps and everyone was enjoying time there. Night finished with great Ceilidh band and loads of great jumping around

Hello everyone,

How are we doing guys? Things are pretty busy here at A-Fotografy. Catching up with last family photo sessions just before Christmas arrives. Still have a lot of work to be done with newborns and maternities.

This time I would like to share with you a baby photo session with little Ruby. We did a little photo session once she was just a month new. You can see it here Now she is 7 month and we had a lot of more fun and happy moments during the session. Family was very surprised when I said them to bring their dog Max for the session. I really like dogs and he was such great poser At the end, the image with Ruby and Max was their favourite and most likely will end up as a present for a lot of family members So forth it is so important to hear what mums and dads really would like and do the best to meet their wishes. This was one of their wishes. I’m so happy to help them and make something special. We wanted to keep images simple and let Ruby to speak for herself. Sometimes for baby sessions I use a lot of props like headbands, tutus, hats, different objects etc.

Hello everyone,

I just finished another great newborn photo session. This time we were inviting little Tilly who was just 16 days new. We had a wee bit challenge with her windy tummy, but still managed to capture some really nice images of her and family. She did very well and I’m glad that I had an opportunity to photograph her.

This will be just a little sneak peek to see how the session went. Once family will come over and see the rest of the photos, I will share some more with you all.

Hello everyone,

Today I would like to share a little sneak peek of my yesterdays newborn photo session with little Henry. He was just 10 days new happy boy. We were prepared for a long day, but he was such a calm boy that before we knew it, the session was over and mum and dad will have a good selection to cherish. We did Christmas theme, we photographed little something with touch of dads profession, and of course we used few of our selection hats. Atmosphere was calm and really easy going. While we were creating photos, mum and gran was relaxing and working on Christmas plans.

How are we doing? I have managed to find some time to share few images from my recent newborn photo sessions. There will be lots more to come, but at the moment I would like to share with you a session, which I did few weeks ago. I photographed little 11 days new Lucas and he was a wee star. We did quite few our usual poses, but he was the first newborn boy up for a Christmas related session. Mum was thinking a bit ahead and was trilled to see the final image We also tried on my cheeky monkey hat and I just got few more funny ones. Will share those with upcoming sessions.

Hi guys,

I’m really happy to share few images from my first newborn twins photo session, which I did a week ago. I was really nervous about this one as it was my first twins and I really didn’t know what to expect. The day came and they arrived, beautiful boy and a wee girl. We had a fantastic time and they were really calm together. Whenever we tried to do separate portraits, that is where it became more tricky. Boy was a real poser, but wee girl was a real diva We managed to capture great expressions and nice close up portraits.

Here I will share few images of them together. I’m really happy with these and looking forward to meet my next twins at the end of november. I have already more challenging ideas and I’m sure families really will like them

Hello everyone,

How are you doing during these autumn days, hope you are well and cold has passed you by. I meant to post this write up for a while now. Sorry for keeping you waiting. This was one of my last location family sessions in Edinburgh. What a fantastic time we had. Bella and mum had a lot of dancing and singing and I had a great time out taking portraits. It was great to see such close family bond and both girls seemed so much enjoying all experience.

We had a bit long walk which was involving a modern art gallery park visit, Dean village, awesome cake shop in stockbridge and few cobble streets around area. This is a little sneak peek into the our day and there will be more images coming once family visits me for a viewing. They made a trip all the way from London and I hope they will be chuffed with results

Hello everyone,

How are you doing today? It is busy time with studio photo sessions  as outside weather is getting more and more cold. This time I will share a wee sneak peek of the session, which I did a while back. Initially we were thinking to do it outside, but weather was rainy on the day and we used studio as our back up.

Family brought lots of things and plenty of changes. Kids were doing colouring and mum and dad kept hiding the bribing treats We had fantastic session and I have loads of beautiful images to share with you.

This time it will be just few little ones, but once family comes along for the viewing, I will share a lot more with you.
