It is time for another sneak peek and this time we will talk about family portrait sessions outdoors. Yesterday I had awesome day out on one of my favourite outdoors portrait photo shoot spots. Like always you can’t predict the weather and this was no exception. By the time we left Edinburgh, the rain was dripping already. There is a great advantage to photograph in overcast or even rainy days, it is LIGHT 
normally it nice and soft and it is such a great benefit for the portrait sessions. A lot of families are scared to go out during a rainy sessions, but it is fun and it is different, get your boots on and off we go! Most likely that there will be less people around the photo sessions spot as well, which leaves you wast spaces empty to move around and get your portraits done. I would definitely encourage families to get their beach photos done while weather is lasting here, it won’t be for long now.
I’m happy to present to you this awesome family. Linda planned this session for good few weeks and idea was to use different outfits, ideas and get awesome results. I must say we practically nailed all ideas and I was so pleased to get out and about on Gullane beach. They never been there before so for them it was discovery as well and now they know where to go for a nice beach stroll or picnic. There is one more good reason to go to the Gullane, awesome cake shop on the corner. We grabbed some cakes and headed to the beach, maybe it wasn’t that good idea to have them first we felt a bit on heavy side for running after.
Little boy Joshua was just celebrating his first birthday few month back and this was their family treat. What can be more precious than get beautiful portraits done and family was so happy about all experience. I kept chasing wee one and did so many interesting photos
