After 106 days little baby Charlotte is finally at home.
Hello everyone. Do you remember the story I made few month ago, about little baby Charlotte who as born weighting only 665grams. If you haven’t seen it, you can watch that video and story here. Today I wanted to share with you how she is doing now. She just arrived home and I came to see her and do few images of her.
Here is little story from family.
” Charlotte was in hospital for 106 days in total before she was allowed to come home with us. During this time she has fought two infections, meningitis and is currently having on going reviews for her eyes. In this time she has learnt to breathe all on her own and learnt how to feed properly. There was once a time we couldn’t put clothes on her because she was so small. Now she’s a beautiful 16 week old baby at 6lb 9oz. In this time we feel like we’ve been to hell and back but we always appreciate how lucky we are to have such a strong little girl. If it weren’t for the support of the amazing angels who work within neonatal and all those who contribute to Simpsons special care, along with other mums, friends and family, we don’t know how we would of coped. Now it’s the beginning of a new chapter at home with our baby. “

While I was editing these images and putting together a little short film, it was impressive to see how much she has grown. I saw photographs of her being so tiny tiny and now we have here almost 7oz. It is little miracle to me, to be honest. I’m so happy for family and look forward to create many more beautiful photos for them.
Here is few more photos and little short video as well.
Thank you all for coming along and looking trough images. If you wish to leave some wishes for Charlotte, you can do it in comments box. I’m sure family will appreciate it. You can also support Simpsons Special Care Babies charity here. Please share this with your friends and spread word about this lovely charity. I look forward to do a fund-raising for them and help as much as possible to support families.
