Glasgow mums visiting A-Fotografy for maternity photography.

These guys are very special to me. Many moons ago I photographed their awesome wedding and since been in touch. When they announced family addition, I was over the moon , literally :) Vik got in touch about baby photos, but I so much wanted to record their bump stage too. When I first asked Vik about pregnancy photos. I loved what she said, no bare bump shots and all that floating dress stuff :) I knew that they are staying in cool place so there was no doubt that even without all posy studio stuff, images will look awesome.
Besides I always wanted to do more outdoors maternity projects and more personal things to the couples anyway. I’m doing the same with families and kids now too. Projects which would reflect them in their enviroment and with activities what they love. Down the line I think these photos will mean more to them too.

Few weeks ago her mum Rachael told me that Charlotte will be big sister!!! That definitely made my day and I was super excited. She wanted to tell all friends but make it a bit more special announcement.
I researched various sibling pregnancy announcement ideas and initially we were planning to do the announcement photos outside in park. Unfortunately weather wasn’t on our side so we went to the studio. I’m really happy how images turned out. This was my first time doing something like this and I really love this. Hope in future to get few more of these done.

Wanted to create more artistic pregnancy photos and also to test some of my new maternity dresses. I’m really pleased with outcome.   My mums to be were trilled to see these photos and so glad that they signed up for it. It was such a great day and I gained so many new portfolio pieces. Looking forward to do one outdoors maternity project as well and I’m sure it will be amazing as well.

Not sure about heading to a professional studio and getting a set of maternity portraits done?
