I had an honour to meet and photograph Vikki’s pregnancy portraits. Yes to me as Edinburgh pregnancy photographer, it is an honour to record great beginning of new life in family. This is such a special time in mums and dads lives and it is a shame that many of families avoid photographing their maternity stage. My wife was the same and trying to talk herself out of it, but now it means so much to us. To have these special photographs to look back.
Same as almost every mum, Vikki was concerned as well. A bit worried about her look and how the final result could look like. Every mum to be feels nervous every time, but just few minutes down the line it is all smiles and they relax. It is so important to make sure that mums and dads are comfortable with me. Not very often you get to take off the shirt and expose a little more skin then normal 🙂
Here is Vikki’s maternity portraits.
Edinburgh pregnancy photographer
Once Vikki came in to see her maternity portraits, she was so happy and so pleased that she did it. Her mum also was over the moon and everyone was delighted. She also shared a story with me that just after her photo session with me, one of her maternity friends organised a photo session with her, Vikki and one more mum to be to get their maternity portraits done. They did it, but once Vikki saw the portraits she was so horrified by low quality of them, that she was even afraid to come for the viewing with me. It is so easy to do wrong maternity portraits. It is all about posing, lighting and making sure that mums to be are comfortable. It is absolutely crucial.
I’m not afraid to say that I’m considered as one of the best maternity photographers in Edinburgh and you can visit my maternity portfolio here. If you are at your expecting stage, please feel free to contact Edinburgh pregnancy photographer here.
Thank you all for coming along and see you back here soon.
