Forrester park golf resort wedding photography | Laings
Hello everyone. I’m trilled to share with you last weekend wedding photography at the Forrester park golf resort. I know Lesley and Jamie for few years now and I felt very privilaged to be part of their big day. I have photographed them few times now and love their family and to see how they are growing.
This was my first wedding at the Forrester Park Resort. When I first was arriving to this place, I thought that my sat nav has taken me to the wrong postcode again. You kind of drive down little alley of residential houses and it never occurred to me that it is just few hundred meters down the road.
There are many options for outdoors shots and if the weather is fine, you will have awesome golf buggy ride. It was an experience in itself :) I have never been in one these and it was so much fun.
I have photographed a lot of wedding this year. I have to say one thing about this venue. Food is AWESOME!!!! I have seen loads of evening buffets, but this was OMG freeken amazing. Hand carved burgers, amazing sandwiches, hot options. I was just about to leave venue when they brought it out and I just couldn’t leave without tasting one of those delicious sandwiches. It was the best sandwich I have ever had. Ver very tasty.
You can see Lesley’s and Jamies pre wedding session we did at the venue and read their story as well. Visit their pre wedding photos at Forrester park here.Jamie was bit on shy side, but actually I must say that he did well. It was great prep for a wedding day. I think it is important to have a great connection with wedding photographer and it certainly will show in photos. Also guys pretty much knew my plan for the day and what we might be doing.
Their wedding day started nicely with Lesley getting ready at her parents place and Jamie stayed in near by hotel. My assistant went to do few shots of boys and I stayed with girls.
Here is how our wedding day went in photos.

Loved Lesley’s dress. So much texture and details.
Loved this little story sequence. It was very windy and slightly started to drizzle as well. We went to do some photos at Lesley grandfather garden. He is 90 now and it was lovely to see him in photos. Everyone took positions for photos and wind started to blow her veil and it just landed on him. It was such a beautiful moment to photograph. He was so cheerful and happy. I think these will be very important photos down the line.
When little boys were taken down the isle, Cameron was holding this last chance to run daddy sign. I always how Lesley and Jamie joked about each other. A bit of black humour always :)
I think Jamie might just hate me for this, but I will say it anyway. Lesley wanted to make a nice surprise for Jamie and chose a Star Wars tune to walk down the isle. I must admit, I have never seen a single Star Wars movie :) Yeap, true. Not a single one. I sort of know the characters and tune, but that’s about it. He was very well surprised and everyone had a little giggle.
Jamie definitely enjoyed driving one of these :)
Lesley’s garter came off and she was hysterical :) Awesome moment.
Rain was rolling in and we literally had few minutes to finish this before it would start to rain.
So here we are. This time I didn’t have chance to get my low light evening images down, but we already working on that and those will be up soon as well.
Big congratulations to Mr and Mrs Laing and it was pure pleasure to document your day.
