Hello everyone. Spring is here and I’m really excited to start working on my summer weddings. Most of you know that I’m Edinburgh wedding photographer and that I invest lots of time in pre planning my weddings and thinking trough photography process. Today I will share with you awesome and fun portraits of Richard and Gail. Their wedding is approaching very fast and I’m so trilled to photograph my first wedding at the Royal botanic gardens. Fingers crossed for weather and and it will be awesome. Botanic gardens give not only garden backgrounds, but also cool architecture features as well. You will see from photos that there are plenty of spots and places to get great portraits.

This is not the first time when I photographed these guys. Here is link where you can see their engagement portraits we did at North Berwick They are most expressive couple I have ever photographed, lots of funny faces and giggles. Oh and yes they can be serious as well and show some love :) Really excited to be their wedding story teller.

Greywalls Hotel Wedding Photos with Alison and John

Alison and John I have known for a while now. It is been my honour to photograph their daughter Elicia since newborn age. Fantastic family and fun little girl they have. During my Day in Life projects with them we got to talk about their wedding. I listened to their story, we looked at some images. It looked fine, but I felt that they didn’t get that wow factor about their images.
They could still fit in their wedding clothes, that one was very important. Myself I can’t wear those sleek wedding pants anymore :) Too much lovely Falco cake :)
I felt that this would be perfect timing to visit Greywalls Hotel and do more exploring with awesome couple.

North Berwick Marine Hotel – Pre wedding session

I have awesome pre wedding shoot to share with you. This was my first time pre wedding session at the North Berwick Marine Hotel. I photographed fun couple Jane and Tom. There is definitely chemistry between these guys. Lots of smiles and laughter. When I initially met with them, loved how they interacted between themselves and I was able to connect with these guys.

Wow! What an incredible day. The best day of our life’s. After a nervous night sleep we started early. While Danielle was dealing with essential hair makeup and bubbles. Iain and the boys were in the forrest with the clay pigeon shooting.
Our service was stunning, better than we ever imagined. It is happened under the fantastic Tree with Martha’s Vineyard chairs, Sunflowers and sunshine everywhere, while the string quartet played some sweet music.
The day raced on and we just couldn’t slow. it down. We had a walk through the forest, down to the lake and later over to the glorious beach.

Glasgow University Chapel Wedding | Az and Lindsey

You most likely remember the pre wedding portrait session I did there with Az and Lindsey. Big day came so fast. It was fantastic and full of joy. It all started at their homes, followed by ceremony in beautiful Glasgow University Chapel and finished with dancing at Hilton Grosvenor. This was my first wedding at University Chapel and I was so looking forward to get photos around venue. Loved cloisters and surrounding areas. I couldn’t get all photos which I planned, but most of them we nailed it. Rest of them I will do next time :)

I had an honor to be a wedding story teller for Chuck and Jen and OMG how busy and beautiful two days we had. They came all the way from Canada to have a beautiful and romantic wedding. From the very start I knew that this day will be very different. Just by listening to outline on what they would like for their wedding photography and the venues they have picked, it all sounded like day full of fun and plenty of great opportunities to create gorgeous portraits for them.

Balbirnie House Hotel Wedding Photography | Waclawski

It meant the world to us to be celebrating this day with our family and friends. It was fantastic to see everyone getting to know one another during the day then ceilidhing the night away. In the wonderful whirlwind of the day, we did manage to find a few quiet moments to reflect. We were very lucky to spend a lot of these with Armands whose great chat kept us laughing from picture to picture.
We wanted to give everyone who came a little something to take away with them as a thank you for celebrating with us. We had a great time making all the coin cufflinks and stamp brooches (Stephen’s ByJove designs came in very handy!) It was even better when we realised that some guests brooches perfectly matched their outfits!
